1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Charlie's Notebook (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Charlie's Notebook is an SAT Math preparation platform that provides practice questions, progress tracking, and AI-powered tutoring. The Service is designed for educational purposes only.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

4. Subscription & Payments

  • The Service offers a free tier and a paid subscription (“The Full Notebook”) at $9.99/month or $79/year.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly).
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Reproduce, redistribute, or resell any content from the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
  • Use automated tools to access the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, including questions, explanations, and design, is the property of Charlie's Notebook and is protected by copyright law. The questions used in the Service may be sourced from third-party test preparation materials used with appropriate rights.

7. AI Tutor Disclaimer

The AI Tutor feature provides automated math assistance. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated explanations may occasionally contain errors. The AI Tutor is not a substitute for professional tutoring or educational instruction.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Charlie's Notebook does not guarantee any specific test score improvement. In no event shall Charlie's Notebook be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms.
